Cost Matching support program

The Cost Sharing Support Program is designed to provide discretionary funds in support of external proposals to agencies requiring cost sharing. The Office of Research and Sponsored Programs has only limited funds for this purpose, and so requests for cost-sharing support will be subject to certain requirements and review criteria. Specifically, RSP will only consider requests for support of proposals that require cost sharing as part of an RFP (Request for Proposals), and documentation of this requirement must be provided.  Requests meeting this basic requirement will also be evaluated according to the following criteria:

• total amount of funds requested from the granting agency
• prestige of the funding agency and program in question
• the amount of matching funds provided by the department and college of the applicant(s)
